Taking inspiration from the Swiss Typography movement to create work using just typography.
This project was set to me in my first year of study at university. The project was split into two parts.
The first part was to research into the history of Swiss typography and look at individual artists who had interpreted and embraced the style that made it so iconic, and then create an A2 sized broadsheet that displayed the research.
The second part was to create images inspired by the artist research and design pieces of work purely made up from type; using a body of text provided to us by the university I would use different styles to display the same text.
